Meet Kate!

Family Source Consultants Surrogate Katie

“FSC was amazing at making sure all parties were taken care of. Having the agency made everything from filling out paperwork to checking in at the hospital really easy. Whenever I had a concern, I was able to get ahold of Nicole immediately. The support groups and Facebook channel were a huge help as well. Denise did a fantastic job running the Chicago meetups and all of the ladies are super supportive!”

What led you to become a Surrogate?

Since I am getting older, I asked myself, “Do I want more kids?” I realized that I didn’t, however, I thought it would be great to help others achieve their goal of having a child.

Who was your largest support person/s throughout your journey?

My children. They were there for me every step of the way.

What made you decide to choose your Intended Parents?

After meeting through Skype, my IPs and I clicked immediately.

What was the biggest highlight of your journey?

The relationship that I have with my IPs. We had such a great time communicating and meeting up. Seeing their 4-week-old baby makes me feel so proud to have helped carry their child.

Do you have advice for women who are interested in becoming a gestational surrogate?

Patience is the hardest part of starting the Surrogate process, but once you get passed the initial documentation, things start moving really fast. While there’s some sadness parting ways with my IPs and their baby, I couldn’t be happier for how things turned out and would gladly help them or another family again in the future.
